~long questions/ chapter4/ science ans1- the sensory nerves:- it carry messages from the sense organ to the Brain or spinal cord. the motor nerves:- it carry order from the brain or spinal cord to the parts of the body such as the muscles and glands which respond accordingly. ans2- the brain is divided into three parts:-1- cerebrum 2-cerebellum and 3-medulla oblongata cerebrum:- it is the uppermost and largest part of the brain it receives message from the sense organ and decide what the body should do. it is the centre of learning, memory and intelligence. cerebellum:- it is lower part of the brain which controls balance and muscle movement and helps to run Play etc. medula:- it is the base of the brain which is connected to spinal cord. it controls the involuntary actions such as Heartbeat breathing etc. ans4- reflex action:- some autonomic actions that are controlled by spinal cord are called reflex action.it happens on the response to a stimulus. touching a hot object,, sneezing etc are some example of reflex action.. ans5- notes on ear:- ears help us in the hearing. they also help us to balance our body the ear has three parts. external ear which receives the sound and transferred to the eardrum which vibrate . and sound vibration pass on the inner ear which send sound to the brain which is the sound that we hear. notes on skin:- the skin is the outermost covering of our body. it has many nerve endings, which are connected to the spinal cord and it help us to feel heat, cold, pain etc.
